Repeat and remix a post
Schedule deliberate reshares and keep evergreen content accurate.
Auto-Recycle creates planned reshares from a post. It differs from queue recycling, which rotates eligible items through recurring slots. Use either only when the content will still be accurate at its next appearance.
Add reshares
-
Open the post composer or scheduling panel and expand Auto-recycle this post / Repeat post.
-
Add the repeat dates or offsets offered by the control.
-
Review each resulting time, selected account and any cooldown warning.
-
If Remix wording each cycle is available, choose whether later captions should be varied or kept as written.
-
Save or schedule, then inspect the original and planned reshares in Calendar.
Review before repeating
Avoid recycling event dates, expired discounts, old availability claims or news that could become misleading. A new caption does not make an obsolete fact current. Check generated variations for altered meaning, claims and links. Preserve required disclosures and verify that media still fits the new wording.
Change or stop the repeats
Open the future reshares and remove or reschedule only the intended items. Editing or cancelling the original does not prove that every already created repeat changed with it. If no reshare appears, check that repeat settings were saved, the offset is in the future and approval or account restrictions are not holding the item. See queues for continuous rotations.
Distinguish per-post repeats from queue recycling
A per-post recycle plan creates future actions relative to the original post’s successful publication. A queue recycle setting rotates eligible published items when the waiting list runs out. They solve different jobs; inspect both before combining them so the same content is not repeated unexpectedly.
Native repost support varies by platform. A reshare creates a new entry and must still pass the selected destination’s validation. Inspect every generated Calendar item, time and account. Remove outdated offers from the future plan and inspect existing scheduled copies separately.
