Automatic post signatures

Add a recurring footer and review platform overrides and variables.

A signature adds recurring text such as a sign-off or call to action to a post. Unlike a content plug you insert manually, an enabled signature may be applied by default.

  1. Open Post Signatures in workspace settings.

  2. Enter the workspace default and choose whether it is enabled for new posts.

  3. Add platform-specific overrides where a shorter or different footer is needed.

  4. If using variables, choose the names supported by the editor and inspect their resolved values.

  5. Save, then open a test draft to review the resulting preview.

Check each post

Read the final caption including the signature. Its text contributes to character limits and may contain links or hashtags that change the platform's treatment of the post. Use the per-post signature toggle if a particular item should omit it. Check that an inserted content plug has not duplicated the same call to action.

Change a signature

Edit the workspace default or a platform override deliberately. Verify whether existing drafts and scheduled posts retain their prepared version or receive the change. Review important pending posts directly instead of assuming all of them updated. If a placeholder appears literally in the preview, fix its variable name or replace it with approved plain text before publishing.
