Let clients connect their own accounts
Create a scoped authorization link without asking clients to share passwords.
Connect Links provides an authorization flow for a client workspace where enabled. It is different from a client review link: one connects social accounts, while the other reviews prepared posts.
Create and send a link
-
Open the intended client workspace and its Connect Links controls.
-
Choose Create link and set the supported account/platform scope, label and expiry controls.
-
Verify the client workspace and the access the link provides.
-
Create the link and share it privately with the intended client.
-
Ask the client to authorize the correct social account on the network's own login screen.
Verify the connection
After the client finishes, inspect the workspace's Social accounts list. Confirm exact page, profile or channel names and any missing permissions. Open a draft to check that the intended destination is available. Receiving an authorization link is not permission to publish unspecified content. Prepare and approve the actual post through your normal client process.
Maintain access
Check link status and expiry in the management page. Revoke a link after it is no longer needed or if it was shared incorrectly. A revoked connect link does not necessarily disconnect an account that was already authorized; inspect the connection settings separately.
