Assign and track work

Turn a content plan into owned tasks with due dates and linked drafts.

Tasks track work people need to complete. A task can point to a post or idea, but completing it does not by itself publish content or approve a draft.

Create and assign

  1. Open Tasks and choose the list, board or personal view offered.

  2. Create a task with an action-based title and enough detail to know when it is finished.

  3. Assign a teammate, choose a due date and set the status or priority where available.

  4. Link the relevant post or idea so the assignee can find the working material.

  5. Save and verify it appears in the assignee's view.

Recurring work and discussion

For repeated work, use a recurring schedule if offered and inspect the next occurrence. Keep a weekly planning task separate from a publishing automation: one reminds or assigns work, the other can create or send content. Use task discussion for progress and decisions. Review AI-suggested tasks before accepting them so ownership and deadlines reflect an actual commitment.

Complete the task

Check the linked deliverable before marking the task done. If the task was “prepare a post,” inspect the draft. If it was “publish,” verify the external result. Formal approval still belongs in the approval workflow.
