PDFs, live reports and recurring reports

Create a useful report and control what a shared link exposes.

A downloaded report is a snapshot of a selected period. A live report link may show changing data. A recurring report creates or distributes reports on a schedule. Choose the form that matches what the recipient expects.

Generate a report

  1. Open Analytics → Reports and choose Generate report.

  2. Set a clear title, date range and account or platform filters.

  3. Select the available sections, such as summary metrics, top posts, platform breakdowns, audience insights and recommendations.

  4. Inspect branding, logo, colors and footer in the preview. Remove internal-only notes from customer output.

  5. Generate and wait for the completed result, then download and inspect every page.

Share the right version

For a snapshot, share the reviewed PDF or a supported report link. Check access, password and expiry settings where offered. Do not assume a link is private just because it is long. For a live report link, choose its scope and inspect the client view. Explain that the content can change as data refreshes. Revoke the link when access is no longer needed.

Schedule reports

If recurring reports are available, choose cadence, timezone, recipients and content scope. Review the next run and test one complete report before relying on regular delivery. Changing a schedule does not recall reports already sent. Store needed snapshots independently of temporary download links. Retention and available sections depend on your workspace and plan.

Before generating or sharing, confirm workspace, account filters, date range and branding. Inspect the finished PDF for missing data, private notes and unintended accounts. A PDF captures a point in time; a live report link can expose refreshed metrics to anyone who has access to that link, depending on its configured controls.

Check the actual password, expiry and revoke controls offered for that link. Do not assume every link has the same protection or expiry. Revoke a link when its intended access ends.
