Research competitors

Track public sources and turn observations into checked content ideas.

Competitor research monitors configured public sources and summarizes changes. Use it to understand positioning and topics, then verify the source before repeating a claim publicly.

Add and inspect a competitor

  1. Open Trending / Competitor Spy if available.

  2. Choose Add competitor and enter the intended public domain or supported identifier.

  3. Give it a clear label and start tracking. Wait for the initial discovery state to complete.

  4. Open its detail page and inspect the actual sources being monitored.

  5. Remove noisy sources or add relevant public URLs using the available controls.

Use the briefing

Read a briefing and open the underlying source for important claims, prices or changes. Check its date. A monitoring summary can miss context or describe an outdated page. Use a suggested counter-move as an idea, then write your own accurate angle. Send it to Idea Board or the composer as a draft and apply your brand voice. Do not copy another company's content or imply their endorsement.

Maintain coverage

Check source errors, refresh settings and any tracked-competitor limits. Increase frequency only when needed and after reviewing usage. Missing updates can mean the source was inaccessible, not that nothing changed.
