Upload and organize media

Store reusable images, videos and documents, then select the right version.

Media Library keeps assets available to posts and other supported tools in the current workspace. It is separate from the content calendar: uploading a file does not schedule or publish it.

Upload and verify

  1. Open Media Library from the content tools or choose Add from library in the composer.

  2. Upload the intended files from your device, or use an offered connected source.

  3. Wait for upload and processing to finish. Open each important file to confirm that it is complete and readable.

  4. Give reusable assets clear names and use available folders, tags or filters to organize them by campaign or purpose.

  5. Keep the final approved version easy to distinguish from drafts and older variations.

Attach to a post

In the composer, open Add from library, select the correct assets and confirm. Check the resulting attachment list and carousel order. Open previews for every destination; the same file can crop differently across placements. Documents have different publishing rules from images. Use the supported document control and destination requirements rather than attaching a PDF to every selected network.

Find or fix a missing file

Check workspace, media type filters and upload status. If a file is rejected, inspect the format, dimensions, duration and size limits shown for the destination. Re-export an appropriate version and attach it again. Before deleting an asset, check whether you need the original for future changes or pending posts. Keep a recoverable copy of unique source material. See Rejected media for a focused diagnostic checklist.

Library acceptance is not platform acceptance

Wait for each upload to finish, then open the actual asset. Verify orientation, playback, audio and the intended version. A file that belongs in the library can still fail a particular network’s placement requirements. Validate again in the composer for the exact account and format.

Keep an original when exporting a smaller or differently cropped version. Use clear asset names and campaign folders so drafts do not accidentally attach an older variation.
