Organize posts into campaigns
Group related content and review its publishing and performance together.
A campaign identifies posts that support one initiative, such as a launch or event. It helps filter and report on the work. A campaign is separate from the date/time and account selection of each post.
Create and assign
-
Open Content and choose New campaign / + Campaign in the campaign controls.
-
Name the initiative and add a description. Choose a color or caption template if those options are offered.
-
Save the campaign, then select it in the composer for the relevant posts. You may also be able to assign drafts from the content list.
-
Filter Content or Calendar by the campaign and check that the intended posts appear.
Work with a campaign
Use the group to see drafts, pending reviews and scheduled posts together. Keep exact destinations and publish times on each post. If a campaign provides a default caption template, inspect the final wording before publishing. Use available campaign metrics to evaluate the initiative over a defined period. Metrics still depend on successful publication and the data provided by each network.
Close or change the campaign
When the initiative ends, inspect its remaining scheduled posts before closing or archiving the campaign. Do not assume changing the label cancels publication. Keep a report or export if you need the results later. If a post is missing from the campaign view, check both its campaign assignment and active filters. A collection used to organize assets or ideas may be a different feature from a campaign.
Keep organization separate from delivery
A campaign groups posts for filtering and reporting. It can supply a caption template when the caption is blank, but it does not choose all destinations or schedule the post for you. Confirm accounts and time separately. A post has one primary campaign; use tags for additional organization. Closing a campaign preserves its reporting history and does not establish that future scheduled posts were cancelled.
