Connect Shopify and test product content

Use the correct store identity and verify a draft before automating product posts.

Use your store's permanent Shopify domain when the connection flow requests it. A custom storefront domain may not identify the store correctly for authorization.

Connect the store

  1. Open the store connection area in Social and select Shopify.

  2. Enter the requested permanent store domain and choose the connect action.

  3. Complete authorization in Shopify with an account allowed to install or authorize the integration.

  4. If the installation route is unavailable for your store, follow the custom-app option explicitly offered in the current setup instructions. Do not guess credentials or scopes.

  5. Return to Social and verify a synchronized product's title, image and public link.

Test one draft

Choose a product and create a draft. Compare every factual detail with the live storefront. Open the final product link and confirm the image and offer are appropriate for the selected social account. Keep the test as a draft until you have reviewed it. A store connection does not itself publish a social post.

Use a public product feed

If using Auto-Post from a Shopify collection feed, confirm that the storefront and relevant products are publicly available. Test the feed preview in Auto-draft only mode and inspect the first generated item. A password-protected store can prevent feed access. Use the authorized catalog route or consult your store administrator rather than removing store protections solely for an automation.
